Guys and girls,

in these days with heaps of finanical problems going around, could any of you with experience from UAE say which currency it is best to get your salary paid in?

Received an offer in Aus Dollars, which I think it not so good as it has dropped in value lately.

Which currency are you paid in and most importanty have the financial crises affected you?

Personally I would be looking to get paid in the currency of the country you work in, all your bills are in that currency.

If your getting paid in another currency you will always be subject to the fluctuation of the global currency markets.

I had a problem once where I lost a significant amount of money between changing money up on day 1 to doing it a week later. It is a pain in the a** to have to worry about it.

Cheers

PWD

I think this is a rare case as most jobs are offered in Dirhams. Obviously once you get paid and transfer it over to your native country account you may lose money!

If hypothetically speaking I was offered then Im from the UK so it would have ot be sterling or the Euro as that seems to be the strongest currency thus far!
